Hi! My name is Scott (I hope you know that if you ended up here...) I'm years old. I've been collecting since November 2021. I've amassed an embarrassing amount of toys since then and I haven't had a way to catalog all of them or show my collection off besides an entire collection picture I might do once a year. My history with Tamagotchis is that I was given a v3 for my 8th birthday and a v5 for what I believe was Easter when I was 9. In hindsight, my mom got me two of the worst ones she could've for an 8 year old. The v3 sucks (and I stand by that to this day) and the v5 was extremely confusing to someone that young. I would lose interest in them by age 10. Eventually, I donated both of my mine and my brother's v5.5 to a thrift store when I got my own room when I was a teenager (I know, it pains me too). I am really not a NIB collector. While I have a few, I believe that these are toys and meant to be played.

Friends

I don't think the Friends series is all that bad but some people have a burning hatred for them. They're wrong, of course. They also aren't that hard to see. Y'all have a circlejerk over the v5 but it is just as hard to see. Y'all just love to parrot what other people say without actually trying it out for yourself. This is one of my favorite Tamas of all time. Back when these were new, I saw a Colorful Bubbles at Hot Topic. I was trying to decide between it and a Fall Out Boy t-shirt. At the time, I thought "Well, I know I like Fall Out Boy... I haven't liked Tams in years." So I went with the t-shirt. As a kid, I wanted Cube World so damn bad. From when it first came out until they went off market, I would ask my mom for them every birthday and Christmas. She never got them for me, probably because I barely played with my Tamas. They were also kind of expensive for what they were (that I get). When I got back into Tamas, I also really wanted Cube World to fulfill that piece of me that never had them as a kid. Well, I found out quickly that it was pretty expensive! I found a set in the wild at the Brass Armadillo in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at one point, but I didn't know enough about them that 8 small cubes and the City cube for $70 was a decent deal. Anyway, early January 2025, my friend Zen sent me a listing for Series 1-3 small cubes for $60 and what was like $10 shipping. This was a damn good deal and I knew I had to buy it immediately. If you know Cube World pricing, you're probably salvating at this. I really try and only buy vpets that are a deal and I'm pretty patient. This absolutely paid off, even if Dodger's screen is slightly cracked.
